Smart Living & Finds does not currently use affiliate links. This page explains how we'll handle them if and when we do, so the policy is clear from the start rather than added quietly later.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a link to a product or retailer that pays us a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking it — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay stays the same either way.
How we'll disclose them
Any article that includes affiliate links will carry a clear, visible disclosure near the top of the page, before you reach the links themselves. Individual affiliate links will also be marked with rel="sponsored" in the page code, which is a standard technical signal to search engines that the link is a paid/commercial one.
Our approach to recommendations
We only plan to link to products we'd genuinely recommend regardless of commission. Whether a product earns us a commission has no bearing on whether we think it's worth buying — our guides are written to be useful first.
